FAQs
THIS IS A REFERENCE VIDEO.
Here's how it works.
Yeah okay you died. Sucks right? Well, here's the thing. Some just move easily over to the other side peacefully. Others have a harder time letting go. These are the ones we call the undead.
Head Reaper Haruhi Suzumiya takes these undead ones under her training and makes them become grim reapers to collect the souls of dying people. That sounds pretty difficult right? Well, it gets worse. Not only do they have to go around collecting souls, the undead have to maintain fulltime jobs and live among society.
But, how does that work since they're dead, you ask? Well, it's like this. To humans such as you and I, the undead appear normally, a little different than what their actual appearance is. So hey, you know that blonde girl in the cubicle next to you? Or maybe that boy at the record store? They could be a reaper, you never know.
Q: How does this rp work?
This roleplay is played in the style in which journal entries are written in first person and threads are written in third-person. However, both types of posts are able to be replied to/played out by members of the community. This means that the journal entries? They're not really journal entries. Think of it like your character's talking to themselves out loud.
Q: What? That doesn't make any sense.
Well, how else would some of you be able to communicate? You're dead.
Q: Okay fine, so what exactly is the difference between playing in a journal entry and playing in a log?
Roleplaying in a character's journal can be done by anyone who has a character that wants to reply, unless the entry in the personal journal is marked private. Otherwise, any member of the community can interact with any other member as though they were talking face-to-face.
With the logs, however, it is specified beforehand who is welcome into the log. Your character may not just barge in unless it has been cleared by the two players before you do so.
Before the start of a log, we ask that players write a brief summary similar to this format:
Who: What: When: Where: Warnings:
Then, whichever character is posting the log writes their first sentence. The player may choose to either make this part of the post public, or they can hide it underneath a cut.
We also ask that threads be posted in the journal of the main community, reapercussions
Q: What characters and fandoms do you accept? Reapercussions accepts all characters from any anime, manga, video game, Harry Potter, and Heroes. While we accept Harry Potter and Heroes characters, we prefer that you speak to a mod before applying for one.
We also, unfortunately, are not accepting original characters at this time.
Q: What is the limit for characters one player may own?
There is no limit set at this time. However, we ask that all players be fair and don't hoard a ridiculous amount of characters, such as 15 at a time.
Question not answered? Feel free to IM one of the mods and ask away.

RULES
1.) Be respectful of other players and the mods. This is probably the most important rule. If a problem between you and another player arises, please alert one of the mods and we will handle it.
2.) Please keep OOC drama OOC. This is just as important as the above rule.
3.) PLEASE BE ACTIVE! This one we cannot stress enough. If you need to go on a hiatus for a little while, either post in the OOC community or contact one of the mods. We like to keep this roleplay up and alive.
4.)Update every 3 weeks. We want to give everyone different scenarios, posts, and situations to play with.
5.) Please try to keep all characters IC. It's understandable that the character may have some different traits if you change their age or such, but we don't want them to be absolutely OOC. If you're unsure if a character is being OOC, please ask.
6.) No God-like characters please! We understand that you character may have a power or special ability and we agree, that makes them different than others. However, we do not agree that it makes them better than others. Please try to use your characters powers reasonably if they have them.
7.) On that note, we also would like to say we do not encourage powerplaying. This means you are not allowed to control someone else's character without asking the character's player first! For instance, you and the player must both agree to one player beating up another. If you have a problem coming to an agreement, feel free to talk to a mod.
8.) If you have an idea for your character to do something that will affect the whole city (plane crash in central downtown or whatever), talk to a mod before executing it. We like ideas =)
9.) Make sure to clean up your friend's list at least once a week! Everytime an announcement is made of an add or drop, make sure you update your friend's list so that everyone's at least on the same page.
10.) And finally, have fun :D That's what the game's here for, right? Thanks for taking the time to read the rules, guys! And to prove that indeed you have read this entire page, plant the words peach cobbler somewhere in your application. Thanks!
